Bonjour and Welcome to Body Mind Spirit
As we move into the transition from “The Art of Touch” to “Body Mind Spirit,” I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.
My name is Catherine. I am the proud mother of five children. I was born and raised in the Northern part of France. I came to the USA in December 1987. I lived in Tempe, Arizona from 1990 to 2006. After having a Day Care business for seven years, I oriented myself toward massage therapy and graduated from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Tempe in 1998. After having my own practice “Body Mind Spirit” in Tempe, I returned to France from June 2006 to December 2013. While in France I practiced Massage Therapy and was the care provider and nurse to 100’s of animals as well as breeding Angora rabbits (to spin their hair), dogs, sheep, and chicken. Additionally, I boarded horses and ponies, made farm fresh foods and operated a Bed and Breakfast.
Upon my return to Arizona I was invited by Christine to join “The Art of Touch.”
Due to her health, Christine has had to close “The Art of Touch”. I decided to take the opportunity to re-open my business, “Body Mind Spirit” in the same location.
I want to wish Christine all the best in her new venture and thank her for trusting me enough to turn over her business to me.
The Therapy you will receive from me is a combination of all the modalities I have learned over the years: myotherapy, deep tissue, energy work, stretching, range of motion along with a touch a Swedish to leave you feeling relaxed. The priority: You. Everything is done in accordance with your comfort and needs.
A few other of my hobbies are knitting, enjoying a healthy lifestyle growing, preparing and eating “farm fresh foods” and bodybuilding … since the 1970s.
Occasionally you will see some of my products at the office.
For all of you who have been faithful to the Art of Touch but don’t yet know me, I hope I can make your experience at Body Mind Spirit as pleasant as you had with Christine and the Art of Touch.
